The Chairman, Ona-Ara Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Adesina Musibau Shabba has called for cooperation of all stakeholders in the council area and beyond on efforts towards the protection of lives and properties.
Shabba while speaking at Ona-Ara Local Government Peace and security meeting held on Friday, August 13, said it became imperative and necessary to ensure that lives and properties of people in the local government are saved and protected with firm collaboration and cooperation of the stakeholders in the local government.
He said, “security as one of the agenda of the present administration in Oyo State, is also one of one of my priorities as the Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara local government”.
“As there is nothing that can be compared with peaceful environment, it is when there is security that there will be progress”.
He therefore solicited for the cooperation of all stakeholders on how lives, properties of people in the community would be saved and protected.
Shabba enjoined all the concerned quarters in the council area and beyond to put all hands on deck so as to ascertain that all live in peace, unity and togetherness.
