The Chief of Army Staff, Major general Farouk Yahaya has made a promised that the Nigerian Army under his watch would leave no stone unturned in maintaining peace and security as well as securing the lives of all Nigerians inline with the directives of the commandant in chief of the Armed forces.
Speaking on behalf of Chief of Army Staff, the general Officer Commanding 2 Division Nigeria Army, Major General Gold Chibuisi stated this during the Nigerian Army Day celebration Inter-Denominational Church Service 2021, held at the All Soul’s Military Church, Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ibadan, Yahaya Farouk described Army day celebrationa as opportunity for the Nigerian Army to celebrate the fallen heroes who paid the supreme price at the war front.
He assured that the Nigerian Army is more than ever determine to ensure the country overcome the myriad security challenges confronting the nation
Farouk extended his heartfelt condolences to the late chief of Army Staff and ten others who are involved in the I’ll fated plane crash in Kaduna.
He enjoined troops officers and soldiers to continue to remain loyal, vigilant,committed and rededicate their service to the Nigerian Army and the nation while remaining focus in bringing lasting peace and to the country.
