Bola Tinubu, national leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Governor of Lagos State has advised the Federal Government to recruit at least 50 million youths into the Nigerian Army to help tackle insecurity.

BAT stated this on Monday during colloquium to celebrate his 69th birthday in Kano State.

He was received by the state Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and other top government officials in the state.

However, reactions have trailed the advice, with many Nigerians speaking badly of the statement credited to the politician.

Read reactions below:

@Ugocity Ozowalu Felix: “Let’s start with your son.”

@Johnson Olajide: “To go and do what sir… well I will appreciate that if your children will be among the 50 million youths.”

@Deoke Prince Eze: “Hope your son and your grandchildren will go as well.”

@Chima Chijioke Sunday: “Your son will be number one.”

@Ogheneovo Nova Umukoro: “Recruit your son not youth.”

@Rainbaro Hopeoluwa Victor: “Your First Son first!”

@Jason Oluwasesanayofunmi Emmanuel: “Make sure your children are recruited and also send to Borno, kastina, kaduna, kebbi, jigawa or yobe.”
