Sequel to outstanding performance and good representation of Hon Akintunde Olajide AKT in Oyo State House of Assembly, Lagelu residents have enjoined the alleged haters of AKT to avoid politics of bitterness and acrimony which are capable of hindering the good work of parliamentarian in the hallow chamber and to his lagelites.
A resident of Lagelu State Constituency who issued a piece of writing under a condition of anonymity, in respect of AKT showered encomiums on the parliamentarian and his concerted efforts towards the development of Lagelu at large.
In his piece of writing,”there is this saying ” Lagelu Baba Ibadan” ,yet we are still like a 6 year old boy who wants to start his primary education”.
“Going through the history of Lagelu since inception of this 4th republic in 1999,Lagelu State constituency had never had it better than this present Honourable representing her in the OYHA , HON AKINTUNDE OLAJIDE AKT”.
“Since 1999,we had it in history that all Lagelu representative in OYHA had just 1 cosponsored motion before AKT came on board in 2019, But in less than 2 years on the floor of the House, AKT has single handedly moved over 4 motions and cosponsored 3 motions.That is the 1st primary responsibility of an elective state Honourable”.
“On his Constituency responsibilities, AKT has done his best in bringing the dividends of democracy to Lagelu as Hon Femi Kenfab has stated earlier.
Hon AKT is one of the most active and vibrant Honourables in the OYHA, he is the most hard working Honourable in the house, even when the house is on break or on recess,AKT will still be in the office to attend to his official duties” .
“Hon has been assigned to Chair various Ad hoc committees when the need arises in the OYHA.
What amuses me most in one of the agitations of this infamous group was that Hon AKT does not have Constituency Office in Lagelu ! What are the 2 constituency offices in Iyana Church stand for”.
” Hon AKT can not be distracted in his primary responsibility as an elective state Honourable by this “dead on arrival” call by these selfish minority people who want drag Lagelu back from her fast pace to greatness since Hon AKT came on board”.
” Instead of our people to thank God for new dawn in Lagelu politics for giving us an intelligent young man in AKT ,who has changed the name giving to Lagelu past representatives as ” I SUPPORT ” by taking active parts in OYHA to the delight of people,some fractions of people want to bring him down”
“We should not all forget that Hon AKT was the award winner of the Prestigious ” MOST OUTSTANDING HONOURABLE OF THE YEAR” last year, the award which was organised by some international Media outfits in Oyo State”.
“AKT’s hospitality and respect make him a darling figure to his colleagues in the OYHA”.
“In conclusion, we should shun the politics of bitterness, politics of backwardness and politics of yesteryears and support our people intelligent representative (AKT) to move Lagelu forward”, the piece ended .
Another resident of Lagelu State Constituency also affirmed the good representation of AKT with this,”we are always proud of Hon. AKT”.
