The media Aide to the Caretaker Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Hon.Sanusi Musibau SHABA, Area of Oyo State has debunked the rumours and speculation going viral that his boss was arrested sequel to illegal possession of life ammunition(pistol).
The media Aide described the sponsors fabricated story and allegation as mischief makers who are Desperate for power at all cost.
The Media Aide disclosed this in a release he personally issued and made available to naijatodaynews.com.
According to him,”this is to debunk a release by one Comr. Omosalewa Sakirudeen Ogundiran that the Caretaker Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Hon. Sanusi Musibau SHABA was today arrested alongside with one of his aides,sequel to alleged possession of life ammunition (pistol) at the peaceful meeting organized for the chairmanship aspirants held at SDP party Secretariat Wema Ibadan”.
“He added that,”and that when they were caught, the chairman, confessed to the police that he was the one who bought the gun and the duo had been handed over to the police for further interrogation”.
“This is untrue and unfounded, as the said Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Sanusi Musibau left the venue of the meeting together with other leaders,including the Oyo state Deputy Speaker,Hon.Fadeyi, in which on his way back home, he had a ghastly accident along Omowumi/ Olorunsogo”.
“And the mischief maker, who was sponsored by some political desperados who want power by all means, decided to tarnish the image of the council boss”.
“Below are pictures of the incident, which involved the council boss whom the mischief maker claimed to have been arrested, he is currently at the hospital with injuries sustained with his aide”.
