Hon. Fasasi Raheem Ajibola who is popularly known as ‘FM’ is the current Caretaker Chairman, Iseyin South, Local Council Development Area(LCDA), Oyo State and someone who can be adjudged as a notable leader and politician.
FM remains a leader because he has vision, discipline, wisdom, moral courage, humility, executive ability, inspiration power and other qualities that define leaders of impeccable character.
He is a politician sequel to his firm mastery and understanding of the rules of political engagements which are in connection with consultation, rapport with notable and politically exposed stakeholders within and outside the confine of his political party(PDP).
He harbours no sentiment nor acrimony against any politician irrespective of political platform that he/she may belong to, but he understands politics as a game that requires tactics, inspirational power, calculations and predictions that devoid of do or die engagements.
On his current task as the Caretaker Chairman, Iseyin South, LCDA. FM came on board with readiness to serve his constituents and in compliance with eagerness to tailor himself in line with the programmes and policies of Governor Seyi Makinde.
FM’s appointment and inauguration came at a time while the local council had challenges of finance to implement most of the highlighted and earmarked projects, he ensured that those projects were successfully carried out despite failure’s attempt to triumph.
He believes that he represents GSM at the council area and it is incumbent upon him to comply strictly with Governor’s cardinal programmes which are characterized as education, infrastructure, agric business and security among others.
On area of education, FM believes that the foundation of every state is education of its youths, he swung into action to have adequate knowledge of the challenges which the schools under his administrative jurisdiction are battling with, with instant attention to the most pressing ones which are to aid the smooth running of academic learning and development.
Infrastructure remains the priority of his adminstration with constant attention and consideration to poor condition of roads, bridges, toilet facilities, portable water and other social amenities which are visible to the blinds and audible to the dumbs.
Peace and security meeting is another significant area he can’t joke with in his constituency and Iseyin at large, FM relates peacefully with all the Law Enforcement Agencies, Amotekun Corps and other paramilitary officers in order to guarantee an absolute protection of lives and properties.
On FM’s direct contact with the constituents, while coronavirus pandemic broke out in Nigeria and extended to all states of the federation, he had not jettisoned his duties as a council boss which centered on sensitization, orientation, distribution of relief and hygienic materials to all the constituents regardless of political platforms.
He had on different occasions empowered the constituents with empowerment materials worth millions of naira with the aim to improve their lots and better standard of living.
I’m only expatiating of some of his physical achievements now, there are many ones which he had done with his right hand which his left hand has no knowledge of.
FM remains a leader and politician of note who can be entrusted with political office and other administrative engagements, any day and any time.
