JUST IN: Oyo Commissioner, Olatunbosun Denies Membership of ZLP; Reiterates Commitment To Makinde’s Success

Oyo State Commissioner For Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun has denied his membership with Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, reiterates his commitment to unprecedented success of Governor Seyi Makinde.

Olatunbosun who was speaking to Journalists at press center, Oyo State governor’s office, against the viral online news stories that he had meeting with the leadership of ZLP at the Premier Hotel situated at the state’s capital.

He debunked the news stories in entirety, saying that he had no meeting with the mentioned party nor motive to join it.

He added that he was on his way to King’s FM that is domiciled at Premier Hotel while he had the knowledge that Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli and other members of the party were having meeting at the venue, stressing that, immediately he sighted his eyes on them, he just waved to Sharafadeen Alli and left the venue instantly.

Olatunbosun reiterated that he has no political membership with ZLP nor interest to join the party, stressing that he is fully committed to Makinde’s government and success.

He said that Senator Monsurat Sunmonu remained his leader and both of them are resolutely committed to Makinde’s government which he prophesized be elongated to 2027.

Oyo Information Boss revealed that he is 100 percent committed to Makinde and he had been working days and nights to ensure that his government succeeds beyond the limit.

He challenged the leadership of ZLP to be bold enough to come up with either audio and most importantly vedio of their meeting that can indicate his participation.

Olatunbosun warned the online news media practitioners who are fond of publications without substantial facts to desist from such, saying such attitude amounts to un-professionalism and sensationalism which are capable of ruining the media.

In his reaction, the leader of the party, Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli Akogun had said that Olatunbosun was not in attendance, he was only sighted on the spot.

Akogun however said that ZLP had not concluded on the subsequent steps to be taken, they were only holding meeting meant for the progress and development of the party.
