EXCLUSIVE: S/W Insecurity: Sunday Igboho Cries Out Over Threatening To Life

Sequel to issuance of seven(7) days’ quit notice ultimatum to the Fulani Herdsmen in Ibarapa Axis of Oyo State over their alleged involvement in the spate of kidnappings, armed robberies and terrorists among others, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as ‘ Sunday Igboho has cried out over the alleged threatening to life shortly after the issuance of said quit notice.

An Ibadan based philantropist and human activist made this known in his residence at Soka Area of Ibadan, on Sunday, January 17 while speaking with the crew of naijatodaynews.com.

Igboho born man said that he had been receiving series of threatening calls both at the state and national levels, owing to his quick intervention in the ravaging insecurity in Ibarapaland that had led to the deaths and kidnappings of many influential sons and daughters of the zone and issuance of quit notice.

Sunday Igboho said that he was disappointed in the governments at state and federal levels, sequel to their failure and inability to provide a lasting solution to the problems of insecurity ravaging Ibarapa zone and pacesetter state at large.

The Human activist said that it was quite disheartening and worrisome that the suspected gunmen allegedly killed Dr Aborode and Managing Directress of one’s filling station in the zone and power that be in the state and federal levels have not up till now done anything to fish out the alleged perpetrators.

Sunday Igboho added that, his life had been threatening for some days back, stressing that those at the corridors of power are orchestrating all means and strategies to stop him from fighting for the cause of Yorubaland.

He said that non of yorubas or southerners dare to show any dominance in northern part of the country as Fulani herdsmen are doing in yorubaland and entire southern region of the country.

Sunday Igboho lamented that the Fulani Herdsmen had allegedly involved in insecurity that is characterized as kidnappings, armed robberies and other forms of dastardly acts.

He said Yoruba could not continue to watch helplessly and allowed the Fulani Herdsmen persistently killed, maimed, slept with yoruba women under severe duress and their alleged involvement in wastage of properties that worth millions of naira.

Sunday Igboho vowed to defend the territorial integrity of yorubaland for unity, oneness and progress of the western region.

He enjoined the Fulani Herdsmen to call their people who are suspiciously involving in the dastardly acts to order, adding that enough is enough when fulanis would be killing and kidnapping yorubas for ransom before their attainment of freedom from their captivities.

Sunday Igboho called on yorubas who are currently at the corridors of power but are failing to say and defend the truth to think twice, adding that yorubaland belongs to all and it is important to maintain and sustain its corporate existence.
