JUST IN: Sunday Igboho Declares War Against Enemies Of Yoruba Nation

Ibadan based activist and Philanthropist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo who is popularly known as ‘Igboho’ has canvassed for the birth of Yoruba Nation.

Igboho made his opinion known for the creation of Yoruba Nation in a viral video clip which emanated from event organized in celebration of 8th Ogo Yoruba Award and Yoruba Comedy Show, held in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Igboho who hails from Igboho town, located in the area of Oke Ogun axis of Oyo State in his presentation at the programme maintained that it was high time Yorubas as a whole secured an independence.

The popular activist who is also double as a politician cum businessman devotes his attention to solving human problems and protection of their rights.

Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho was the father of the day at the event tagged “8th Ogo Yoruba Award and Yoruba Comedy Show” with some other dignitaries who also graced the occasion which include The Special Adviser to Gov. Seyi Makinde on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige.

Sunday Igboho took to the podium to talk about creating a movement that will trigger the birth of Yoruba Nation.

He said, “some want restructuring while others want revolution but as for me, I stand for Yoruba Nation and I am convinced that it shall be established because this year is for Yorubas to gain independence”.

He added that, the major dominants of key positions in the current government are Hausa and Fulani making other tribes look inferior, and which they are using the power in their position to benefit themselves with no regard to security of lives and properties and other dwellers across the length and breadth of the county.

He added, “I am not canvassing for Yoruba Nation because of political post or recognition but for my name to be among the freedom fighters when the freedom is gained”.

He said that the notable Yoruba Traditional Rulers, High Ranked Politicians and others who were supposed to join hands collectively for the attainment of Yoruba Nation could not come out boldly to support the struggle.

He added that Nigeria could not remain as one because of marginalization and claiming of superiority and dominance being displayed by Hausa/Fulani’s current leadership.

Sunday Igboho said that Yorubas could not fold their arms and allow the suspected Fulani Herdsmen to continue infiltrating the region with their ulterior motive of kidnappings, armed robberies, senseless killings and other dastardly acts.

He said that the cheating was obvious and glaring to the blind and audible to the deaf, stressing that the only solution is to allow Yoruba to go peacefully.

He advised Yoruba youths to stand for freedom and be prepared to fight it anytime soon.
