The Center for Peace and Self Value Re-orientation has conferred an award of Service Ambassador on Oyo State Commission for Land, Housing and Urban Development, Barrister Abiodun Abdu-raheem in recognition of his integrity, moral uprightness and firm discipline among others.

According to him,”presentation of Certificate of Integrity Stewardship as “SERVICE AMBASSADOR” to Barr. Abiodun Abdu-raheem, commissioner for Land, Housing and Urban Development by Centre for Peace and Self Value Re-orientation”.
“It was a remarkable day at the office of the commissioner for Land, Housing and Urban Development Oyo state as representatives from the Centre for Peace and Self Value Re-orientation confirmed on Barr. Abiodun Abdu-raheem, an Award/Certificate recognising and commending his Integrity, Administrative discipline, and work ethics”.
Presenting this award to the Commissioner, Spokesperson for the Centre for Peace and Self Value Re-orientation, Comrade Abraham Oyibo took out time to point out salient areas where the Honourable Commissioner has shown his commitment to serving the people of Oyo State in utmost integrity, sincerity of purpose and dedication. He commended the Seyi Makinde-led administration for implementing people-oriented projects to better the lives of Oyo people.
He said the Seyi Makinde-led administration has performed excellently as far as good governance is concerned, adding, “This government has brought to bear a lot of human capacity development projects and is taking governance to the grassroots. The government has embarked on projects that directly impacts on the masses.
Receiving the Certificate/Award, Barr. Abiodun Abdu-raheem in his acceptance speech appreciated the organisers of the award noting that this will serve as an impetus, not just to him as the Commissioner, but also to every member of his team (Staffs and Senior Management Staffs of The Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development) for them to do more for the people of Oyo State.
“Also, the man of the moment, dedicated the award first to the Almighty Allah for His continuous guidance”.
Barr. Abiodun Abdu-raheem stated the undisputed fact that just like an Apple fruit doesn’t fall far from it’s tree, his Integrity which was part of the qualities that singled him out for this award isn’t far fetched.
According to him, “I have a role model in this administration and that is the person of Governor Seyi Makinde. Whenever we meet, he preaches integrity and zero tolerance for corruption and it has made us to continue to pursue that policy in all that we do knowing that we are accountable to the people of Oyo State who sent us here”.
Further more, He dedicated the award to the Governor for his uprightness and dedication to serving the people of Oyo State noting that the Governor Seyi Makinde has done so much in terms of projects, stressing that he is not interested in making noise with his achievements.
He noted that the present administration led by Gov Seyi Makinde had made the issuance of C of O easier for people of the state than those days, adding that every resident could attest to the fact that home owner chapel is well appladed.
