The Caretaker Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Hon. Settle Olaide, has been honoured with PRAGMATIC ALL INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP Award at Ladi Kwalli Sheraton Hotel, Abuja.
The award was in recognition of his pragmatic and leadership qualities he has displayed overtime in paddling the canoe of the Oluyole Local Government, and with his sterling achievement as the executive head of the local government.
While reacting to the award by the Caretaker Chairman through his verified Facebook page, Hon. Settle Olaide appreciates all the good people of his local government, Gov. Seyi Makinde and good people of Oyo State.
“It saddens my heart when I listened to some of our leaders referring to our age Bracket as wasted generation.
This general belief however informed the reason why we chose to fire from all cylinders to help restructure the headlines and change the narratives of governance having given the opportunity to serve by my own Benefactor Engr Seyi Makinde and the good People of Oluyole local government for creating an enabling environment for us to continually cast them in good light”.
“However,this award bye and Large presented to me at Ladi Kwali hall Sheraton hotel Abuja Nigeria by Hon Minister for Women Affairs Mrs Pauline Tallin in the presence of men of caliber and timber from all works of life chaired by His Excellency former Governor of Imo State and serving Senator of federal republic of Nigeria Owele Rochas Okorocha propel a more call for genuine service to mankind”.
“However, I therefore dedicate this PRAGMATIC ALL INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP award among 774 Local Government in Nigeria in recognition of 29 Projects executed between February to August 2020 by our administration to an Angel in my world, my own Benefactor Engr Seyi Makinde and the good People of Oluyole local government”.
“As I always say, probably if Engr Seyi Makinde did not become Governor of Oyo State,I Settle Olaide might not have become the Caretaker Chairman of the Greatest Heritage called Oluyole local government. Hence, all glory to God Almighty for making it possible for my Benefactor, GSM, to realize his long time ambition of redefining governance in Oyo State”.
“Honestly, seen they say is believing, the warm welcome and Hospitality at OYO HOUSE by our Resourceful Leader and the Oyo State Liaison Officer to the Federal Capital Territory, Hon Busari Olayemi, not forgetting the superlative and home away from home hospitality from Hon Abass Adigun Agboworin representing Ibadan South East North East federal Constituency, it is another eventful experience that will depart not from my memory”.
