Elero of Ileroland, Iwa Local Council Development Area, Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State,HRM Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka Olokolonigi 11 has installed Kamaldeen Salami popularly known as ‘ Ajisefini’ as Babaloja of Ileroland.
The epoch making event of Babaloja’s installation took place at the Monarch’s palace on Friday, November 6 where the processes and procedures that necessitated Ajisefini’s installation were strictly adhered to.
The monarch in his speech revealed that Ajisefini was eventually considered among the three selected nominees as Babaloja of Ileroland sequel to spiritual guidance, his good track records and unblemished antecedents.
Elero added that Ajisefini was also a business man with vast knowledge and experience in marketing cum buying and selling which had endeared him transacting at Elekokan, Maya markets and other notable markets for transactions.
Olokolonigi 11 while speaking with Khalid Imran, Editor, naijatodaynews.com said Ajisefini’s endorsement as Babaloja of Ileroland was premised on his faithfulness, loyalty, intelligence and vast knowledge of business among others.
He said his nomination and installation as Babaloja of Ileroland was God all the way as Ajisefini neither lobbied nor bribed his way to ascend the leadership of all markets in Ileroland.
On process that led to his emergence, Elero revealed that there were four(4) capable nominees who were later streamlined to three(3) for the next lines of action.
He said, having chosen three(3), the community’s stakeholders prayed fervently and equally considered their track records and antecedents, but Ajisefini emerged the best as the primus inter pares sequel to his unique qualities.
Elero enjoined Babaloja to ensure that the markets in Ileroland are well coordinated and equally relate to all in a peaceful and progressive manner in order to attain the purpose his installation was brought to life and markets’ establishment.
In his own appreciation, Babaloja thanked the monarch, the king makers and the community’s stakeholders who were instrumental to his installation as Babaloja of Ileroland, promising that he would expedite all actions to ensure that the markets in the community are promoted beyond imagination.
He called for maximum cooperation, pieces of advice and notable assistance of all and sundry which are aimed at promoting the markets and community in all ramifications.
