A Commercial Bus Driver whose vehicle’s brake failed was said to have killed a motorcyclist at Idi-Ape area of Ibadan today, Wednesday, November 3.
The sad incident was said to have occurred at Idi-Ape Area of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State while a commercial bus driver whose name has not been ascertained allegedly killed a motorcyclist while his bus’ brake failed on a motion.
The bus driver who was earlier on his own lane had to cross to another lane where the dead motorcyclist was on high speed.
An eye witness reported that, immediately after the occurrence of sad incident, the army of soldiers in Operation Burst Vehicle had to intervene to calm the irate youths to exercise patience in respect of the incident.
He added that the youths could not listen but eventually set the bus which contained the palm oil ablaze, while its driver took to his heel.
