The Okeogun Chairmen of All Progressive Congress (APC) under Oyo North Senatorial District, Oyo State have expressed solidarity and sympathy with the lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial District; Distinguished Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin over the invasion of his private residence by the suspected hoodlums hiding under the guise of the #EndSARS protest on Saturday 24th October, 2020.
In his statement signed by the spokesperson, Alh. (Hon). Salami Isiaka Lekan (Ladubu); APC Chairman (Kajola) after a brief meeting “It is very unfortunate that the hoodlums shattered the entrance doors and window of the great lawmaker carting away properties and personal effects worth millions of naira and no fewer than 300 motorcycles, deep freezers, generators, sewing, grinding, hairdressing, machines, food items and many more which were meant for the empowerment scheme of his constituent”.
“The action of the hoodlums are very barbaric and condemnable. It is very disappointing that such is happening under a democratic governance”.
“On behalf of the entire APC Okeogun, Chairmen of All Progressive Congress (APC) and beyond, we extend our sympathy to you; Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin and Oyo Central Senatorial District”.
“Hon. Sir, do not relent in the pursuit of those lofty ideals you have been known for over the years. We encourage you to keep the flag flying in alleviating poverty among the poorer of the poor citizens of the Oyo State”.
