The Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin has lavished encomiums on the state’s Police Command for expediting efforts that necessitated the rearrest of the suspected serial killer, Sunday Shodipe.
Ogundoyin commended the Pacesetter’s Police Command while speaking with the crew of naijatodaynews.com shortly after the Commissioner of Police, Enwonwu Nwachukwu confirmed the rearrest of the suspected serial killer terrorizing Akinyele Local Government, Ibadan.
The Speaker spoke further that it was a welcome development that Oyo Police Command could ensure the recapturing of Sunday Shodipe who allegedly escaped from its lawful custody on Sunday 11th August, 2020.
He said that Oyo State House of Assembly shall issue a release in respect of development arisen from recapturing of Sunday Shodipe.
Ogundoyin commended the cooperation of all that facilitated the rearrest of the suspected serial killer.
Stressing that Oyo State remains a peaceful and violent free state that would not any way condone any act of lawlessness.
