Multimillion naira mini Mapo hall is a project of Ibadan South West Traditional council.
The project was informed by the need to erect a befitting edifice where the meetings and other business of the traditional council would be carried out.
Public should also take note that the council currently holds its meetings at the building owned by Ibadan Local Government Property located at the Town Planning, Ring Road. The project was nicknamed a ‘mini Mapo Hall’ to further develop Ibadan and make it comfortable for the traditional council members to carry out their duties.
The project is the brain child of the acting chairman of the council, Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland and former governor of the state, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja.
The public should also take note that the council’s building project chairman is Aare Alasa Balogun, Senior Chief Taiwo Oyekan. Chief Oyekan stated that the traditional council building would comprise a hall, conference room, chairman’s office, lavatory facilities and others.
