The Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon.(Chief) Johnson Ojebiyi has lavished encomiums on attendees who thronged in mass for the burial arrangement and final funeral of his late father, Chief Obagbaroye John Ojebiyi, Atobatele1, Baale Igbogaa.
In his appreciation,” on behalf of the entire family of Chief Obagbaroye John Ojebiyi, Atobatele1, I wish to express our profound gratitude towards your physical presence, financial and moral support towards the success of the final funeral party of our father, Grandfather and Great grandfather. May the Lord continue to bless you always, you will never lack in your life”, said Johnson.
Johnson who is also the eldest and first(1) son of the deceased while speaking with Khalid Imran, Editor, naijatodaynews.com made words of appreciation at First Baptist Church, Igbogaa, Isemi-Ile, Kajola Local Government, Oyo State where church service was organised for late Chief Obagbaroye John Ojebiyi before his internment.
The programme of Baba’s accorded last respect who slept in the Lord on 17th December, 2019 and buried in Igbogaa on 8th August, 2020 was elaborated by the undertakers who moved the coffin which carried his remains up and down amidst funfair, dancing and composition of different christian songs among others.
The church programme which was coordinated by Pastor M.O. Ojetunde, Church Pastor also had another men of God and Officiating Ministers within the Local Government and beyond with the responsibilities of ensuring and ascertaining the smoothness and effectiveness of the programme organised for the glorious exit of a legendary icon.
Among programmes were processional hymn, Call to worship, Opening Prayer, Hymn, Deceased’s Biography and Genealogy, Choir Ministration, Scripture Reading, Message and Donation for Church Project.
Not only but also Special Prayer for the Family, Special Prayer for the Church, Thanksgiving, Greetings and Recognition, Words of Appreciation, Closing Hymn, Closing Prayer, Benediction and Recessional Hymn among others were perfectly and moderately coordinated by the assigned individuals.
After the completion of church programme and internment of the deceased, every attendee headed to his/her venue of seat where wining and dinning took place.
The programme was well attended by the dignitaries in the society among whom were the politicians across political divides, Career Officers at Kajola LG, Farmers, Business Associates and host of others.
