Ibadan based Ace Broadcaster, Edmond Obi lo has engaged the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde in an interactive session that centres on challenges, attained feats and the subsequent programmes associated with governance in the pacesetter state.

In his words,”I paid a visit to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde.
We discussed politics and governance”.
“The governor briefed me on the journey so far and the road ahead. He explained the challenges of politics and the measures he is applying to surmount them. He took time to explain his vision of a new Oyo State”.
“We critically examined his plan on developing the Dugbe business corridor to international standard. We pored through maps and brochures in the process”.
“We also discussed the incessant accidents at Aleshinloye Junction, Iyakangu. A July 1, 2020 accident at the dangerous junction consumed more than five lives”.
“I also raised the problem of kidnapping in Lanlate. A young farmer, Modupe Oyetoso, was kidnapped there in July 2020. Her parents paid some millions of naira as ransom to the kidnappers. Modupe was with her friend when danger struck. He was killed as she was kidnapped”.
“We rang her.
The Governor condoles with her.
He assured him of improved security in the state, saying Amotekun Corp will be deployed soon to check the activities of the marauders”.
“At end of our meeting, I encouraged the Governor to be a representation of transformative leadership”.
“Seyi Makinde became the Governor of Oyo State on 29 May 2019.
