Buhari Names Some Railway Stations After Deserving Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the naming of some Railway Stations along the Lagos-Ibadan and the Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri Corridors after deserving Nigerians.

The names of deserving Nigerians and railway stations named after them are as follows:Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Apapa station), late Mobolaji Johnson (Ebute Metta Station),Babatunde Raji Fashola (Agege station),Lateef Jakande (Agbado station) in Lagos, Lagos State.

While the ones in Ogun State were named after Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (Kajola station),Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti (Papalanto station),Wole Soyinka (Abeokuta station) and Segun Osoba (Olodo station) respectively.

Ladoka Akintola (Omio-Adio station), Obafemi Awolowo (Ibadan station) and Alex Ekwueme (Operations Control Centre) were named for the railway stations in Ibadan, Oyo State.
