The Caretaker Chairman, Ona-Ara Local Government, Ibadan Area of Oyo State, Alh.(Hon.) Musbaudeen Adeshina Sanusi has eulogised the Chief Executive Officer, Ilaji Farms and Resort Centre, Engr Jubir Dotun Sanusi for his philanthropy and continuous investment which has turned the local government to notable commercial centre and point of attraction.
While speaking with Adetunji Fabode, CEO and Publisher of naijatodaynews.com at his office in Ibadan, Adeshina said Engr Jubir Dotun Sanusi was a philanthropist who had been been assisting the people of the local government with cash, donations of different kinds and other forms of generosity.
The Ona-Ara Council Boss added that Sanusi had become a notable investor whose impact of investment has been progressively developing the economic prosperity of the local government at large.
Adeshina said aside the establishment of gigantic Ilaji Farms and Resort Centre sited at Ona-Ara Local Government, Sanusi has also been leaving no stone unturned on rehabilitation of the community roads, procurement of transformers, restoration of solar energy, quick intervention in security issues and the proposed establishment of broadcasting station among others.
While asking on why Sanusi was giving generously to the people, Adeshina said Sanusi was a philanthropist whose free giving and investment across the local government has nothing to do with political interest nor returned compensation or gratification from any quarter.
In another development, The Local Council Boss disclosed that when he came on board as the Caretaker Chairman of the Local Government, the Secretariat’s premises was bushy and not comfortable to live in for administrative purposes.
Having swung into action, he revealed that he began with the sanitation exercise and hygienic condition of the secretariat and its premises, in order to drive away all the poisonous and dangerous animals.
For the last six months, he said that he had expedited actions on general painting of the secretariat complex, restoration of disconnected electricity, resuscitation of damaged generating sets, grading of community roads, grading of roads leading to different farms, in oder to enhance the easy movement of farm produce to towns and cities.
Adding that he had worked diligently on extension and dredging of 8 rivers which used to disturb people mostly when it rains heavily, stressing that the machines like Bulldozers, Excavator, Graders, Low bed and others he met while assuming office had been repaired to functional conditions.
Adeshina said that the attained scorecards for the last six months were attained as a result of cooperation and mutual understanding being enjoyed with the cabinet members, career officers and host of others.
On victory attained at Court of Appeal, Adeshina lavished encomiums on Engr Seyi Makinde for standing firmly by the rules and principles of democracy, adding that PDP led administration in the state would not display thuggery nor violence in handling things but with firm adherence to principled democracy.
