The Lawmaker representing Ibadan North State Constituency 1 at the floor of Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Fola Oyekunle has rolled out the attained feats as a lawmaker in the last one year.
In a piece of writing titled’ My 1 Year in Review’ personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com on Friday, June 12th, he accounted for achievements as follows:
“A year ago, the good people of Ibadan North CONSTITUENCY1 came all out with one voice to vote good governance.
On the 10th of June2019, I received the oath of Allegiance to actively represent the esteemed people of IBADAN NORTH CONSTITUENCY1
SCORESHEET:
*Empowerment of 500 young girls with distribution of books,sanitary pads and payment of school fees.
*200 Aged women across all the wards in my constituency were Empowered with 10,000 to strengthen their businesses.
*Scholarship for 3 secondary school participants of the Fola oyekunle Debate competition.
*Visitation to the Orphanages in my constituency
*Over 250,000 monthly intervention grant.
*Settling the bills of 50 hospitalized patients across health centers in my constituency .
*Nomination of 2 members to the IBADAN NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT CARETAKER COMMITTEE.
*Supported the purchase of transformer cable at P&T Junction in ward2.
*Constant consultation with security agencies aimed at strengthening security operations in the constituency.
*Facilitated the 39million Naira reward for athletes at the 2018 National sports festival in Abuja.
*Distribution of palliatives to over 1,500 people in the constituency with a token to help our people in this trying times.
*Overseeing the functions of house committee on youths development

*Amendment of Agency for youth development bill 2020
motions supported:
-Contributed to motions on violence against women
-Motion on the agbowo shopping complex
-Motion on the reinstatement of workers unjustly sacked.
My heartfelt appreciation goes to the great people of our constituency for their immense support through this first year in Office. I Fola Oyekunle Don made a promise to make sure everyone that partakes in the struggles gets the dividends of our government, we will not get tired on the path of actualizing this vision.
