Lagos SDP Mourns Olomilua, Describes Death As Necessary End To Every Mortal

The Lagos State Chapter, Social Democratic Party(SDP) has mourned the demise of one of the party’s founding fathers and former Governor of Ondo State, Evangelist Bamidele Isola Olumilua(Jan.1992-Nov.1993) as it takes solace in the fact that death remains the necessary end to every mortal.

The State’s Party mourned his demise in a condolence message jointly signed by the State Chairman, Hon. Femi Olaniyi( Ferrari)and Publicity Secretary,Comrade Obinna O.Obichukwu and made available to naijatodaynews.com on Thursday,June 4th.

In their words, “in the light of the above, we the party mourn the demise of one of the our party’s founding fathers, a foremost politician and leader, Evangelist Bamidele Isola Olumilua, who was between January 1992 to November 1993, a Social Democratic Party governor of Ondo State before General Sani Abacha Military took over the government”.

” However,during your stay in the office, you led positively and many lives were touched, infrastructural developments were felt, human capacity building was your key priority, of a truth you were a leader and governor to emulate”.

“As we mourn your demise, we are however grateful to God for a life well spent, your death came at the riped age of 80, this goes along way to show, you really lived a fulfilled life in service to God and humanity. We therefore, use this medium to condole and sympathise with the families, friends, loved ones, political and business associates that you left behind, in the same way, we extent our condolences to the people and government of Ondo state that you governed and Ekiti State of your origin, we pray to God to grant all and sundry the fortitude to bear the loss and vaccum your demise might have created in the families and in our polity, especially in our dear party, surely we will miss your elderly advice and council”.
