Hon Kehinde Ayoola, JP, our uncle, son, husband, father, cousin, according to his relationship to each one of us had left us. He was undoubtedly a shining star in our family. He was one person who was heavily talented by God and obviously had a destiny to fulfil in our land. But unfortunately, many hopes and expectations occasioned by his distinguished political records and activities capped by his top position in Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration suddenly went to an eclipse. But we take solace in the fact that he came and made formidable impact in our generation. He truly lifted to an enviable standard our late father Papa Samson Ayoola’s political legacy. Everyone that he came across during his political journey testifies to his political sagacity, unrivaled capacity to record events and marshal his points clearly and unequivocally in political gatherings or at meetings. No wonder that his sudden transition shocked many people. All of us from the family mourn him. We take consolation in the fact that not only that he knew Christ while alive, his numerous colleagues in politics led by His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde appreciate his hardwork, dedication and loyalty to his political leaders. He put everything he had into the assignment given to him as Commissioner for Environment in the present administration. As the book of I Thessalonians 4: 13-18 admonishes us, not to sorrow as unbelievers, we shall meet again at the feet of Christ. We comfort ourselves and all our well-wishers with these words.
