EID-EL-FITRI: Sunday Igboho Enjoins Muslims To Imbibe The Teachings Of Ramdan

The Ibadan based strong man and philanthropist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as ‘Sunday Igboho’ has reminded the Muslim faithful not to jettison the teachings of ramadan being imbibed after its completion.

Sunday Igboho in a release personally issued and made available to Naija Today News on auspicious occasion of Eid-El-Fitri enjoined Muslims in Oyo State, Nigeria and across the globe to live permanently with the teachings of Ramadan they had while the period lasted.

Igboho said that the period of Ramadan remained an holy month when Muslims starved themselves in order to seek Allah’s favour and mercy in their lives, adding that the period also taught them to feel the pains of hunger that many with no foods feel always.

He added that the period taught all Muslims and other adherents to live in peace, unity and togetherness, stressing that as the period lasted,no traces of chaos, lawlessness and disorderliness.

Igboho disclosed that Ramadan compelled all Muslims to abstain from adultery, fornication and other dubious acts.

On imbibement of the teachings after Ramadan, he enjoined all the Muslim faithful across the globe not to jettison all teachings accompanied by Ramadan, adding that living permanently with those teachings would no doubt make them holier and closer to God than before.

On auspicious occasion of festive period, Igboho called on Muslims at home and diaspora to pray fervently against the Covid-19 that is currently ravaging the globe.

He stressed that prayers, consistent supplications and adherence to preventive measures are the only means and methods to end the pandemic.

Igboho admonished all and sundry to comply with government’s directives on lockdown that is caused by coronavirus pestilence, adding that prevention was not only better but cheaper than cure.
