The Caretaker Chairman, Iseyin South, Local Council Development Area(LCDA), Iseyin, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Abd’Raheem Ajibola FM has commended Engr Seyi Makinde as a pivotal factor who necessitated the possibility of grading the feeders roads across the 15 communities and drilling of 5 boreholes in Iseyin South, LCDA.
In his explanation while in an exclusive interaction with Khalid Imran, Editor, Naija Today News in his office at Molete Iseyin, FM expatiated that the grading of feeder roads cut across the 15 communities that make the LCDA, adding that the drilling of 5 boreholes were also spread across the wards that fall in his territorial jurisdiction.
On possibility of infrastructural development, FM disclosed that Makinde needs to be lauded and appreciated for considering the grading and drilling of boreholes noteworthy and approbated as a means to bring relief to those that are plying the roads and justification of water as essential consumption in humans’ lives.
While speaking further, FM stressed that the implementation of infrastructural development programmes were no doubt the social responsibility of a good,responsive and responsible government, adding that his embarkment on the exercises justifies his readiness and eagerness to serve the communities better and at large brings dividends of democracy to the door steps of the constituents.
FM said that the current adminstration led by him would continue to prioritise infrastructural development projects in the communities, as a way and method to show that local government administration remains the closest to the rural dwellers.
On replication of programmes, he promised that the cardinal blueprints of Governor Seyi Makinde at the state level would be sincerely replicated in the LCDA and Iseyin at large,adding that people should be patient with governments at the state level and LCDA, as all promises would be optimally fulfilled in due time.
FM enjoined the constituents,people of Iseyin and Oyo State as a whole to throw their weight behind the current adminstration ably led by Makinde, stressing that the governor remains a servant leader who is ready to bring succour to where shoe pinches the people of the state.
In another development, FM admonished all and sundry to adhere strictly to social distancing and hygienic measures to curtail the spread of coronavirus pestilence in Oyo State and Nigeria at large, stressing that people needed to comply strictly with the directives of government on lockdown that is orchestrated by the pernicious disease.
He admonished people to obey the state’s covid-19 laws and stressed that prevention was not only better but cheaper than cure.
