A person whose name is yet to be ascertained has been reportedly died in a fatal accident that occurred at Idi-Igba Area, Iseyin-Okeho road, Oke-Ogun axis of Oyo State.
An investigation conducted by Naija Today News revealed that the person who was at the owner’s side died instantly while the other two sustained various degrees of injuries when the fatal accident happened on Tuesday, May 11th.
The Venza jeep which conveyed four passengers including driver was said to have hit a stationary caterpillar while unable to control himself as a result of excessive speed.
Naija Today News was hinted that the venza jeep which destroyed beyond repair was a new one which its victims who were coming from Iseyin on a sad day were said to be testing it to celebrate its arrival.
The deceased one had been buried, the other two who sustained injuries were admitted at unknown hospitals while the fourth one was recuperating in his home.
Also added that the men of Nigeria Police Force(NPF) intervened immediately after the occurrence of sad incident and had equally toed the spoilt venza jeep to their station at MTD, Barracks, Okeho, Kajola Local Government Area of the state.
It was said that the road which was once in a deplorable condition is almost motorable sequel to its rehabilitation by the contractors who had commenced work on it for almost two months ago.
