VIDEO; SOKA ROADS’ CONSTRUCTION: Civil Engr Confirms Sunday Igboho’s Multi Millions Naira Commitment To Projects

Olusegun Adesina, The Civil Engineer handling Soka Roads’ construction in Ibadan, Oyo State has said that the Human Right Activist, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has committed multi millions naira to the projects.

Adesina while speaking with Naija Today News on Sunday, May 10th disclosed that Sunday Igboho was the one sponsoring the construction of roads in soka community and the projects had been estimated to nothing less than #54m.

He said the roads of 1.1kms had been ranged from phase 1,2 and 3, adding that face 1 had been completed with total amount of #18m, phase 2 and 3 are in progress with aggregate cost of #15m and #21m respectively.

Adesina said that he had embarked on the roads’ construction for one and half(11/2) ago with prime motive to make the roads motorable for the motorists, tricyclists and pedestrians among others.

Engineer reiterated that Sunday Igboho was the facilitator whose aims centre on how the deplorable roads would be made motorable to all the users,adding that he remained the sponsor who had spent nothing less than #54m on the community roads since work had begun on them.

He said that they were working day and night, including Sundays so that the roads would be quickly put to normal condition and prompt plying by all users.

Adesina praised and commended Sunday Igboho for rendering such social responsibility to soka community without demanding kobo or any other gratification in return, adding that he remained a cheerful giver who gives at will to everybody around him and beyond.

In a similar development, Sunday Igboho said that the roads had been in deplorable conditions for some years back,stressing that those roads had no doubt caused users’ inability to move freely.

He said the construction was to identify with the public, community members, share in their pains and fix the roads for all users.

Igboho called on Engineer to construct the best roads that would last for certain number of years.
