COVID-19: Beneficiaries Eulogise Kindness As Oyo LG Chairman(FM) Begins Second Phase’s Distribution Of Relief Materials

Following financial commitment and concerted efforts being displayed by The Caretaker Chairman, Iseyin South, Local Council Development Area(LCDA) Area of Oyo State, Hon. Abdul-Raheeem Ajibola to ensure and ascertain that the relief materials are extended to the door steps of Iseyin residents, Oke-Ogun and beyond, the beneficiaries of the palliatives have eulogised his kindness, stressing that the relief materials came at an appropriate time.


The gift items which are ranged from several bags of Beans, yam flour, customized and packaged bags of Gari, enough cartons of spaghetti, countless numbers of fried cheese and other consumable items were on Thursday, May 1st arranged at LCDA’s secretariat, Molete Iseyin for onward distribution to the beneficiaries at their respective residences.
FM while speaking with Khalid Imran, Editor, Naija Today News, disclosed that the distribution of second phase’s relief materials aimed at identifying with muslim adherents who are currently observing Ramadan and equally mitigate the effects of lockdown being orchestrated by coronavirus pandemic.


FM stressed that the first phase of palliatives’ distribution had come and gone, adding that the commencement of second phase’s presentation of items to constituents was to be more honourable, responsible and responsive to their needs at this material time of covid-19 and Ramadan.


He disclosed that though he had spoken in a recent viral video clip that people of his constituency would have benefits of state government’s palliatives as soon as available, adding that the first and second phases of palliatives were the ones being facilitated by him.
FM reiterated that governments at both state and federal levels have not reached out to him on their palliatives, stressing that as soon as those ones are available, fairness, equity, justice, accountability and transparency would be maximally put into consideration in sharing them.


He appealed to people of his jurisdiction and beyond to have patience with him and government, adding that the gift items were not sufficient enough to augment and relieve them of their current pains and hardship, considering the fact that government prevents them from concentrating on their daily works and engagements.


FM disclosed that the current administration ably led by Engr Seyi Makinde in Oyo State knows what he needs to do at this crucial period of covid-19 and Ramadan, urging all and sundry to be patient as all promises made before and during the current experience of contagious disease would be maximally fulfilled.
In their appreciation, Abdul-Afeez Azeez, Ago Idio, Ekunle Iseyin described FM as someone who God sent to them in LCDA, stressing that he is a leader and administrator whose level of psychology determines the appropriate needs and wants of his constituents.


Abibat Sherif, Isalu Iseyin said that FM’s distribution of relief materials was just a tip of Icebag, considering what he plans and has in stock for people of his constituency.


Sheriff described him as a servant leader who is wholeheartedly and passionately ready to serve his people with mission to take Iseyin to enviable heights.
In the same vein, Dairo Victoria, Koso Area, Iseyin described FM as a goal getter, achiever and administrator per excellence.
Dairo enjoined FM to continue in his good works as people are watching and monitoring his administrative activities with keen interest, praying that God Almighty will continue to guide, guard, protect and bless him the more.
